An amulet from the early Bronze Age settlement Tel Yaqush in Israel (~ 3600-2550 BC)

In 2018 an interesting object was discovered in Tel Yaqush, which is interpreted to be a cylinder seal amulet. It was made of limestone and decorated with geometric motifs that imitate the Levantic glyptic tradition.

Unfortunately, due to a fire, it was broken into many large and small fragments. These fragments were first cleaned of sediments lying on top with distilled water and then reassembled with Paraloid B 44.
