Restoration of glass objects in the Museum of Islamic Art, Berlin (2014)
The Yousef Jameel digitization project documented and digitized 11,000 selected objects from the collection of the Museum of Islamic Art. Many objects were cleaned and, if necessary, restored and preserved.

Here are some glass objects in their preliminary and final state that were restored in 2014. A reversible adhesive Paraloid B 48 N in ethyl acetate was used for bonding. Mainly water-ethanol mixtures were used for surface cleaning.

The work of the project (including 1769 objects made of glass) are  can be admired in the online database SMB-digital.
